If anyone is interested in getting training on salesforce ( Web based CRM), they have a conference coming up in Sep, and there is no charge for non-profits. Just FYI

San Francisco, Sep 11-14.

Thanks Danish. This sounds good. Where can we learn about the product, and the seminar details?

Thanks! I am thinking of going. I can evaluate for ADP and my own company. I have contacted them to see if it would be appropriate for either... Have you worked with the product?

Just for few weeks, I am currently using there free 30 day trial. We are planning to implement a CRM and salesforce is one of the tools we are looking into.

Most likely I will be at the conference, I have already registered. Let me know if you are planning to come, Tarim, you and I should meetup.

Steve Wright [SWright@salesforce.com] is the person who handles non-profit registrations.

Thanks Danish. I will be speaking to somebody there tomorrow, and will definitely make a plan with you guys if I am coming...

I will be interested to hear your thoughts on the product if we are giving it serious consideration...

Best!

Are your talking about "if we are giving it serious consideration.." ADP using it or for your own business?

For using it for ADP, we have nothing to lose (in $ terms), we get 10 free lic. It might be a good idea to have something like this so that we can organize our leads etc.

For your business: for a small business web based CRM is the best way to go because of its on-demand structure and no heavy investment ( SAP etc can cost $100,000s to $millions). And it does have great features.

I would suggest playing with it as they do give 30 days trial.

Both actually. I can only justify the trip if we are also interested in it for the business. Right now, it is one of four solutions we are evaluating. If I don't make it to SF, maybe you could also evaluate for ADP?

Since I will be learning a new CRM for the business, my preference is to use the same one for ADP... But, the free licenses are a big bonus!
