Director, Programs & Operations
Mehreen is responsible for the global operations of the organization and leads ADP’s Health and Water initiatives.
Mehreen has a legal background and after completing her LL.B from the Pakistan College of Law, she worked as an Associate at Ramday Law Associates for two years. Mehreen holds an LL.M from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Global Affairs from New York University (NYU) where her focus was Human Rights and Humanitarian Assistance. She is currently based in Lahore, Pakistan.
Director, Programs & Outreach
Anam leads ADP’s efforts in the Education and Energy sectors. She holds a B.A in International Development from McGill University and is an independent researcher and writer whose first book will be released in 2014. Prior to ADP, Anam worked with The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP), a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural and historic preservation. She served as Director, Lahore & Islamabad, and spearheaded their Cultural and Education Department for over two years.
In coordination with the Director, Programs & Operations, Anam will be responsible for developing ADP strategy in the Education and Energy sectors, identifying potential partners and projects, monitoring and evaluating project outcomes, building a knowledge management system, developing relationships with partners, and managing fundraising and outreach.
Head of Marketing & Communications
Sabah is ADP’s Head of Marketing & Communications, responsible for managing the organization’s online presence and community engagement. Sabah graduated summa cum laude from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Social Thought and Political Economy. She has founded her own consulting firm I.D.E.A. Consulting that specializes in marketing and communications for non-profits and mission driven organizations. She has previously worked at high-growth organizations like Teach For Pakistan and Blue Ex as the focal person on all matters related to marketing. Sabah has been involved in high impact social initiatives since her teenage years and served on the founding teams of Youth Initiative for Peace, Teach For Pakistan, and Design for Change Pakistan. She is also an avid blogger about all things inspirational.
Anum is ADP’s Operations Manager and plays a key role in supporting the expansion of ADP’s activities, managing the volunteer network and supporting project teams. She has a Bachelors in Media and Mass Communication from Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and has previously worked with the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), managing external projects, documenting various human rights violations across Pakistan, and writing for their annual publication. During her time at HRCP, she worked in collaboration with organisations such as the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). She has done extensive research on prisons, police abuse and women’s rights in Pakistan.
